Round 5 of the All Stars Sprintcars proved to be a trying time for all, but became a promising night for Bishop in the Lucas Oils ACT 15. With temperatures reaching a peak of 43 deg throughout the day and the track becoming a one liner on the bottom during the qualifying heats, the team elected to set the car up to run the top. From the green light in the A Main Bishop stuck to the plan and put the car up against the board, starting from position 10 on the grid it didn’t take long for the Lucas oils ACT 15 to move forward, with a stoppage 9 laps in Bishop was already in 3^rd place. On the onset of the green Bishop made a lunge around the outside for the lead and from then on was never challenged for the next 21 laps, taking the chequered flag. Bishop now sits 2^nd in the All Stars Championship points.
