Hi,
My name is Lucas Halle. I'm a poor college student with an '85 Ford Thunderbird V6 and an automatic transmission. I bought it a few months ago. When I bought the car, the transmission would not make the car go forward. I went to the local auto store and got a bottle of Lucas Oil Transmission Fix (I had to go with the Lucas name! It was more than coincidence). Once the paperwork was done, I put it in and the car worked! I was truly amazed this product turned an $80 (yes, eighty dollars I paid for the car) rolling chassis into a vehicle I could drive reliably.
Then, I got crazy. I took the car to the local ¼-mile track. It was good for about 10 1/8 mile runs and 10 1/4 mile runs, both manually shifting and automatically shifting (best 1/4 et was 18.48). Sometime that night, I lost 3rd gear, which didn't make any sense since the car didn't make it into 3rd during the runs. In any case, I got it home and discovered my transmission fluid was brown with a sandy texture. So, I decided to do a fluid change and, once again, I used a bottle of Lucas Oil Transmission Fix along with some cheap tranny fluid. Well, immediately I noticed that my car ran again. The forward clutch packs are just about gone, causing slow acceleration in first gear. This problem disappears once the car has warmed up. But just tonight, I also realized I once again had 3rd gear! This product blows my mind. I will never run a car without a bottle of Lucas Oil Transmission Fix in it whether it needs it or not! Thank you Lucas Oil!
